Goff Performance is a functional and sports performance training business based on the foundational principles of strength and conditioning. All training programs offer a well-balanced variety of strength and resistance training, agility, conditioning, and functional movements. The #1 goal for all of our members and athletes at Goff Performance is injury prevention and longevity. Whether you are a working parent or professional athlete, we want to help you get in the best shape of your life. While achieving this goal, clients will be constantly pushed to new heights in training, athleticism, and Performance.

Each exercise program is built from scratch and tailored for each athlete, client, or team to meet their goals. We encompass the 6 fundamental movement patterns in each and every program: lunge, hinge, squat, push, pull, carry, with a multitude of variations, progressions, and regressions to fit every client that comes to us. We train everyone from high performing athletes looking to play college/professional sports to parents wanting to keep up with their kids.

Meet Your Trainer

Daniel Goff is your ally on the path to fitness excellence.

Daniel Goff, B.A. Exercise and Sport Science, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NCSA), and Certified Functional Strength Coach (MBSC), founded Goff Performance to help clients meet their fitness goals–from high performance athletes preparing for a higher level of competition to the everyday parent wanting to keep up with their kid on the playground.

His training and coaching background began at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied Exercise and Sport Science and Coaching Education. During his time at UNC, Daniel played on the UNC Men’s Club Soccer Team, winning the NIRSA National Championship in 2015 and leading the team in goals in both the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Daniel also participated in UNC Women’s Soccer practices, learning under renowned head coach Anson Dorrance in coaching philosophy. Upon graduating from UNC in 2016, Daniel has coached youth soccer for Next Level Academy in Morrisville, NC, gained experience coaching group fitness classes through an internship with HEAT Studio in downtown Raleigh, and served as the Strength and Conditioning coach for Shaw University Volleyball and Carolina Advantage Volleyball Club.
